The reports include multiple tables that are located throughout and they are highly referential, with cells from some tables being referenced from tables further in the reports, lots of calculations built in, etc.

Additionally, they are buggy if the content spans to the next page. My irritation is based on the poor editor and selection dialog for input lists as well as the fact that you can't have multiple lines in any of the selections. I have been using them kind of like clause selections, where I will have multiple boilerplate paragraph that I can select the most appropriate depending on the situation. I get frustrated sometimes with OpenOffice because there is so little parity between functions in Calc and functions in Writer tables, I often find myself wanting to use a function in a table that is not available in Writer. I write long reports for a living and I have a basic OpenOffice document with inputs, variables, boilerplate, etc.
